Add FAQs To Google My Business

 In today’s quick tip, I’ll show you an easy way to add your frequently asked questions to your Google Business Profile. If you’re ready, let’s dive in.

 The first thing you want to do is Google your business name and make sure that you’re logged in to the Gmail account that manages your Google Business Profile. What you’ll see is your knowledge panel on the right side, and you’ll see a bunch of options here on the left. You want to scroll down to the area where it says ‘Questions and Answers’.

You’ll want to add between three and six FAQs here in this section; you’re allowed to do that as the owner of your business profile – you won’t be penalized by Google for doing that.

Now, if you don’t have any questions, the first thing you’re going to do is click ‘ask a question’. Let’s go in here. Since I have a few, you will notice I asked a question and then I answered that question and I did this three times.

I’m going to add a question right now and then answer it to show you how to do this.

When you click on ask a question, it will show you that I am posting this question as the business owner. So do you offer any vegan options? The question that this business gets, she’s an online bakery, so we’re going to post that question and then we’re going to click ‘Done’.

Now, here’s the question: Do you offer any vegan options? Now we go and click answer and you’ll see the question is at the top, and now you can answer your own question and then click ‘Post’.

When we go back to all questions, we will see that question at the top. Do you offer any vegan options? And then the three additional questions that we had already.

So you want to load this up with about three to six.
